Family Court education programmes

The Family Court offers and can make referrals or directions by Judges to education programmes:

  • Domestic violence programmes - support and education programmes for victims of domestic violence including children.
  • Stopping violence programmes - education programmes for respondents where a protection order has been made (this referral will usually be mandatory).
  • Parenting through separation - education programme for separated parents
  • Parenting Programmes

The Family Court conducts defended hearings in appropriate and complex cases and where parties are unable to agree.
