What to do if a breach of
protection order occurs?

The applicant is entitled to report any "breaches" of the Protection Order to the police. The police will have been provided with a copy of the protection order by the Family Court. The police may take action against the respondent for breaching the protection order, this is a decision for the Police to make. Such action may include bringing charges for Breach of Protection Order which is a criminal offence.
